The west side of the building on Clarendon St. required a complete cutting and repointing of all mortar join, ¾ inch deep. The cast stone details were repaired and/or replaced with high strength mortar and concrete mix, and coated with Matrix RT. We refinished all wooden window trims and sashes, replaced the glazing around the glass, and applying two coats of Sherwin William’s exterior wood paint. The iron balconies were uninstalled and taken down, and were then reinstalled after they were professionally refinished at the shop. The top 7th floor of the building had major leaks because of the failed sealant joints in between caste stone details. We replaced all the sealants with Dymonic sealant.  The copper around the dormers was refinished by applying two coats TOPCOAT! After all masonry repairs were complete, we washed the building with soap and water, and  letting it dry for a couple days before  spraying the all masonry components with ComproShield MX waterproofing sealant.
